CLASSES

Description of Classes
Most classes offered by SSP are twelve (12) weeks in length and approximately two (2) hours unless noted. This does not apply to the Drama class.

Kids Acting Class
12-week program offered to children ages 7 to 11. Prepares students for working in the industry, and in areas including,
but not limited to memorization, improvisation, slating, cold-reading and many more.

 Kid’s Study & Monolouge

12-week program offered to children ages 7 to 11 who have completed the Kids Acting class. Prepares students to begin
working, making scenes believable, performing monologues on camera, and much more. Students will receive a disk oftheir monologue once the course has been completed.

Teen Acting
12-week program offered to students ages 12-17. Prepares students for auditioning techniques, overcoming
nervousness, improvisation, industry terminology and much
more.

Teen Scene Study & Monologue
12 week program offered to students ages 12-17 who have completed our Teen Acting class. This is a highly developed
level program that prepares students for creating resumes, obtaining professional headshots, seeking representation as
an actor, and much more. Students will receive a disk of their monologue once the course has been completed.

Beginning Acting for Adults
12 week program offered to adults. This is a program for beginners and will provide students the opportunity to learn the art of bringing characters to life. Students also learn slating, cold reads, utilizing props on camera, auditioning, interviewing and
much more.

Confidence & Image Building
10weekprogramofferedtoyoungwomenages12-18.This program prepares students for public speaking, hair design,
body language, etiquette, make-up application, building confidence and much more. Due to the intensity of the
program, no more than twelve (12) students are permitted in the class.

Quarterly Actors Workshop
Workshops are open to SSP students who have successfully completed one of our programs. These workshops are free
and cover a variety of topics including auditioning, interviewing, SAGrepresentation and much more.At times,
